Joan Rivers was good friends with silver screen legend Liz Taylor. They remained close during Taylor’s days as a larger woman.  Rivers noted that Taylor did not have a grasp on her appliances. One time, according to Rivers, Taylor stood in front of her microwave and yelled, “Faster, faster.”

Paula Poundstone cares for others. She wants to start a twelve-step group for compulsive talkers. She even took the time to come with the name. “On Anon Anon.” She did not have to take the time to think of a name.
 

 One day during the height of his popularity a woman called Rodney Dangerfield up and said “Come on over, nobody’s home.” When Dangerfield got there, there was indeed no one home. This was not what he expected. But in fairness to her, she did say no one was home.

Even someone with so much success like Mr. Dangerfield had bad days. This one started in the morning when he put on his shirt and a button fell off. Then when he picked up his briefcase and the handle came off. He became afraid to go to the bathroom.Which was understandable.

Although he was an animal lover one time the great comedian Groucho Marx shot an elephant in his pajamas. Afterwards he wondered why the elephant was wearing his pajamas. It is something he will never know.

While most parents love their children, Rodney Dangerfield for some reason did not feel loved. It was a direct result of their unique parenting tactics. His bath toys were a toaster and a radio.

Roseanne had clear communication with her first husband. He asked her for more space. She put him outside.

As a successful comedian, Rodney Dangerfield had an assistant. At that time assistants were called secretaries. Part of her job was to write down his thoughts and jokes. She asked the comedian if she could use his Dictaphone. He told her to use her finger like everyone else.
